I truly can’t believe it has been 11 months since I started writing blogs. Time does flies so fast.

It started in January 2020, and here I am, getting closer and closer to my graduation. Throughout the past months, many things have come and go. These things have built me into a better and even stronger personality. I also gained many experiences and skills.

This year has kept me wondered which career path suits me the best. The career that brings me joy, and I am truly passionate about it. I am scared to take the wrong road path and regret, especially with the current world situation where the pandemic has shut down many job opportunities. It just made my brains went crazy with a lot of thoughts about my future.

Back then, I mentioned that I wanted to be a content strategist or fashion stylist. I realized I have always been interested in creating visuals and styling. There are ups and downs in my journey in learning to create content and stylings. When it comes to creating content and styling for other brands or clients, as a designer, we need to be able to throw our ego and create according to their wants. This is probably the most challenging part, as I have quite a low self-esteem, and critiques tend to depress me. Despite the struggle that I face while doing the tasks, I have always felt excited doing them and always eager to learn more.

I used to think that designing is not my forte as there are many people out there who can do much better than I am. However, my friends, families, and teachers have kept reminding me and made me realize my talent and creativity. I did not realize at first and just found out a few weeks ago that I have been following a lot of graphic designers and social media manager content on my Tiktok and YouTube. This made me sure that I want to be a content strategist to create interesting content. While for fashion styling, I have decided to take it as a second option or a side freelance job that I do from time to time.

Several weeks left from graduating with a Bachelors of International Fashion Business. I am excited to jump and swim in the real industry—cheers to my future. 😉
