Knowing the latest fashion news and trends is the most important matter to be a successful fashion stylist. They need to know what the world is talking about as it helps to predict the future and keep in-trend and this would have an impact on creating a strong styling. We can also carve our creativity by observing and learning on fashion news and trends and adopt new trends and pieces, giving their own insight on how new items are to be worn.
Lately, I found the latest news about one of my favorite footwear brands, Dr. Martens, having a huge collaboration for its iconic boots.
In celebrating its 60th anniversary of the DrMartens' Original 1460 Boots, the brand decided to continue working with the Belgian designer Raf Simons to remaster the legendary boots.

In its third collaboration with the designer, Simons remastered the boots by embellished them with nickel rings to give the impression of edgy and finished with an embossed of Dr.Martens x Raf Simons logo. The ring was inspired by the popularity of the customization of new romantic and punk schemes that emerged in the late 70s.
Reported from the W magazine, Simons suggested creative styling tips.
"This interpretation of the 1460 boot stimulates you to make it your own," Simons said. "You can personalize it by adding charms, or keep it clean as it is.”

Besides that, the brand has also invited other 12 world-renowned designers and labels to create the limited-edition versions of the iconic British boots that will be dropped each consecutive months throughout 2020.
This limited edition Raf Simons x Dr. Martens 1460 Remastered Boots will go on sale from February 22 and is available in selected stores and the brand's website.
