Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

It’s been seven weeks since the first day I started this blog. Never have I imagined myself writing blog posts every week. I used to hate writing, yet here I am, writing this blog post.

My blog post journey started as a mandatory weekly assignment for the Future Proof: Personal Development Project lesson. We were required to post at least nine blog posts and three new portfolios this term. After hearing these requirements needed to accomplish this lesson has burdened me so much. I was never confident about my English skills and writing has always made me worried. I used to ask my friends for help to analyze and revise my writings. In addition, there is another lesson that I have to accomplish too in this term.

BUT! I forced myself to get out of my comfort zone. Although it was not easy, but writing a blog is actually not as stressful and difficult as I thought. Once I get started, I knew what story I wanted to write and tell the world. Blogging regularly for the past seven weeks have also shaped me positively.

I used to fear of getting criticism for the lack of my writing skills. But this fear has become a big stepping stone that makes me motivated in improving better. I tried my best to re-read every blog post that I have posted and tried to analyze the part that can be better. I also try to read famous global blogger posts to further sharpen my skills. This really helps me to refine my writing skills, especially in English.

Blogging also helps me to be more knowledgable about the latest update in the fashion world, as well as other fields. I need to do research every single day to know more about the most updated news which probably can also be a new topic for my blog. I also gain new skills by creating and developing new portfolios on my blog site.

Therefore, I will continue this journey and be more consistent in posting new interesting blogs. I will post not only about fashion news but also records of my journey to catch my dream!
